About Your New Gilden Tree Waffle Weave Bath Towels

ew to waffle weave bath towels?  Here's what to expect:
Waffle Weave is naturally thin and lightweight, so it takes up less space in your closet, locker, suitcase or boat.

Live in a small apartment, or tiny home?  Waffle Weave Bath towels are perfect both because they take so little room to store, and because they dry quickly - even in damp bathrooms - and up to 40% faster than regular towels in the dryer.  They're perfect for drying naturally on a clothesline.

• Over time, our 100% cotton towels will shrink 12-15% to form little honeycombs.  They'll feel a little thicker and softer, while remaining remarkably absorbent.  Our towels start out over-sized to allow for this shrinkage.

• Our towels are made of chemical-free, natural, raw cotton using eco-friendly processing and are Oeko-Tex Standard 100 Certified.  There may be slight color variations between different towels, if the towels came from different batches.

How to care for your new waffle weave bath towels:

• Launder with warm water and 1/2 cup vinegar the fist time you wash your towels to help soften them and remove any wax left on the fibers.  Then tumble dry on low heat.

• Like any cotton towels, avoid using fabric softeners or dryer sheets which coat the towel and reduce absorbency.

• To whiten and brighten white towels, soak for an hour or two in a bucket with 1 cup lemon juice, 1/4 cup salt and 1/2 gallon of hot water.  Then, without rinsing, hand in the sun to dry.  Finally launder as usual.

• If you have especially hard water, add 1 cup of baking soda to the wash water for a gentle and natural way to keep towels nice and soft.

• Dry-cleaning is not recommended, just regular machine washing and drying.  Waffle weave is meant to shrink and form little honeycombs.  Embrace the waffle!
